In-home early intervention when concerns show up first. Speech, occupational, and physical therapy, at no cost to qualifying families through AzEIP.
Pediatric Therapy · Phoenix, AZ · Est. 1978
Helping Phoenix families find their voice since 1978.
Speech, occupational, and physical therapy for children birth through elementary age. We meet families where they are: in our offices in Tempe and Peoria, in your home for early intervention, and through every stage your child grows into next.

One practice, every stage
A therapy practice that stays with your family.
Families do not experience their child's development in neat brackets, and neither do we. Most of our clients are with us through more than one stage, one funding pathway, or one discipline. That continuity is the whole point.
The transition out of AzEIP is one of the moments parents tell us is hardest. We bridge it, in our offices, with the same team your child already trusts.
Ongoing support through elementary, whether you are self-pay, on insurance, or working with DDD. We pair school-day goals with home-life fluency.
Three ways in, one practice
How families work with us.
Most families arrive already routed through one of three pathways: AzEIP referral, DDD support, or private and insurance. Whichever got you here, the care is the same: experienced therapists, a real relationship, and clinical judgment that stays with your child as they grow.

Arizona Early Intervention Program
Early help, in your home.
AzEIP supports children birth to 3 who are showing signs of developmental delay. We come to you. Same couch, same toys, same routines your child already knows. For qualifying families the program is at no cost.
- Speech therapy for early communication and feeding
- Occupational therapy for sensory, motor, and self-regulation
- Physical therapy for gross motor and mobility
- Coaching built around your real daily routines
DDD · Ages 3 and up
Steady support through DDD.
If your child qualifies for DDD, we are an approved provider. We see DDD clients in our Tempe and Peoria offices and, in some cases, at home or in community settings.
- Speech, occupational, and physical therapy
- Coordination with your support coordinator
- Continuity after aging out of AzEIP
Private & Insurance
Care that fits your family.
For families paying privately or through insurance, we offer the same clinical team without a referral hurdle. Good for families who want to start before a formal diagnosis, or who do not qualify for state programs.
- In-office sessions in Tempe or Peoria
- Self-pay and most major insurance accepted
- Evaluations available without a prior diagnosis
Who you work with
Run by clinicians, for Phoenix families.
Arizona Speech Pathology was founded in 1978 and transferred to Trish Nedberg in 1997, who still leads the practice today alongside co-owner Amanda Herrmann. Between them, they have watched two generations of Phoenix kids grow up, and have hired a team of speech-language pathologists, SLPAs, and now occupational and physical therapists who see practice the same way they do.
"We are not a chain. We are a practice that stays small enough to know your kid's name, and old enough to know what we are doing."
